Focus T25 - Week 2 Summary

1. This week, i made few changes - which have helped me to recover better.

  • I eat a banana 1 hour before my workout
  • 1 cup black coffee 30min before workout
  • I take whey protein twice on my workout days
  • Taking fish oil pills twice a day
  • Taking CLA pills twice a day

2. I don't have severe body pain and fever this week. Pain in upper back has subsided too.

3. Exhaustion after workout has reduced. In fact, i did double workout on friday.

4. Had team outing on wednesday. Skipped workout. But did few thing on outing which i never could.

  • Had better balance, jump, focus and stamina in whatever i did.
  • For 6 hours, non-stop i did physical activities. Adventute activities, climb on a rope, Pitthoo, volleyball, badminton(jump and smash came so naturally to me even when i was playing aftr years), carrom(i know it's not physical but i love this game), volleyball in swimming pool, football.
  • Great stamina and endurance throughout the day!
  • Got good comments for my slim(mer) and smart(er) look.
5. Skipped workout on thursday. Pain, pain and lots of pain because of the above.

6. But did workout on friday and i did double workout. And yes i was alive and kicking after it.

7. Felt pumped up on saturday. Skipped the rest. Did "total body workout(TBW)". Did quite decent job. And yes, recovered soon after. No more blackout after the TBW :-)

8. My another teammate has started T25 from this week. He's young and already fit. He does T25 in morning and gym in night. Ahh! How I wish i were 10 years younger and did T25 in morning and P90X3 in night :-) BUT I know that I will be able to do it in next 1 year!!

9. i can see more muscles flexing in chest, back and arms. Can see few veins popping out in the forearm.

10. Stats -

Good progress, given that i had lot of pain due to team outing. But no pain no gain, right?

Focus T25 - Week 1 Summary

1. From wednesday, i started having severe body ache and slight fever. For 3-4 days, i took paracetamol twice a day. But did not give up on workout.

2. My hunch was right that it was all due to exertion; thanks to new workout routine. By weekend, i started feeling normal. But developed a pain in my upper back.

3. On friday, i did single workout only against 2 workouts as per schedule.

4. My teammate started T25 from wednesday after he came to know that i am doing T25. He developed some body pain too. But he's young. I am 31 and he is 23. He recovers faster.

5. Screwed up my diet 2 times in this week and binged on chicken curry+rice. But hey, it's protein after all ;-)

6. Stats and measurements are the same as the start of the week. But i feel younger, more active, confident and fitter. I can see some muscles flexing on my chest and arms.

Good progress, given that i had lot of fever and pains. But no pain no gain, right?
